- Inventory control: Set min/max, perform cycle counts, track turns, reduce obsolescence, and maintain accurate on-hand in the shop management system.
- Receiving & staging: Verify shipments, tag/label parts, stage by RO, and communicate ETAs/shortages to Service Advisors & Techs.
- Returns/warranty/cores: Process RMAs, capture credits fast, track aged cores and warranty returns; reconcile monthly vendor statements.
- Margin management: Maintain pricing matrices, protect GP%, and audit tickets for lost parts lines or miscoded items.
- Logistics & transfers: Coordinate hot-shots, inter-store transfers, and delivery driver routes; keep the parts room clean and 5S-organized.
- Systems & compliance: Keep clean POs and invoices in [Tekmetric/Shop-Ware/Mitchell1/RO Writer/etc.]; support safety labeling and hazmat storage protocols.
